Research direction

Start by reading the export work described in issue #19 and identify how the current .ini-only path is structured. Define the scope of an ISchemeExporter-style interface and determine which additional formats it must accommodate. Done means export is no longer tied to .ini and can support multiple formats through the generic interface.
