[Issue] Connection timeout trying connect Gitlab MCP

When I use the GitLab MCP URL with OAuth as the authentication method, I get the following error:

Timed out waiting for the authorization URL.

Just to confirm, I have allowed pop-ups and everything else required in the browser. I have tried the same configuration in different browsers, on different computers, and with different users.

Steps to Reproduce

Add a new MCP connector.
Use the GitLab MCP URL and OAuth authentication method.

Expected Behavior

A new window should pop up with the GitLab authentication page.

Actual Behavior

The following error is displayed:

Timed out waiting for the authorization URL.

No source file or test is named. Start by reproducing the GitLab MCP connector setup with OAuth and verify whether the authorization URL is produced before the timeout. Done means the authentication page opens in a new window instead of displaying the timeout error.
