Description

Hi
I am trying to deploy an SQL cluster to a couple of ubuntu machines using the playbook given in the link below
https://github.com/microsoft/sql-server-samples/tree/master/samples/features/high%20availability/Linux/Ansible%20Playbook

In the play.yml, it is mentioned to give the certificates private and public key file paths as variables. I don't know how to create these keys outside of an SQL server. I want to fully automate the cluster's deployment and enable ha to the cluster.

Thank you

Research direction

Start with play.yml in the linked Linux high-availability Ansible Playbook and identify how the certificate private and public key paths are defined. Determine what guidance is missing for creating or supplying those keys outside SQL Server and fully automating deployment. Done means the playbook documentation clearly explains the certificate inputs and the automated HA setup.
