Description

Native EU AI Act compliance integration via AgentAudit AI — an on-chain audit handler that automatically anchors every Semantic Kernel agent action to an immutable blockchain log.
Implementation: AgentAuditHandler as a Semantic Kernel middleware — 2 lines of code, zero workflow changes. Every agent action gets a tamper-proof audit trail, ZK-proof layer, and auto-generated EU AI Act compliance report.
EU AI Act full enforcement hits August 2, 2026. Semantic Kernel agents deployed in the EU need immutable audit logs (Article 12), incident reporting (Article 73), and risk documentation (Articles 9, 11) — or face fines up to 7% of global revenue.
This would make Semantic Kernel the first Microsoft AI framework with built-in EU AI Act compliance — major differentiator for EU enterprise adoption.

Research direction

No repository files or tests are named. Start by reviewing Semantic Kernel middleware extension points and the AgentAudit proposal, then clarify the required scope for immutable action logs, ZK proofs, incident reporting, and compliance reports. Done requires agreed requirements, project fit, and validation criteria before implementation can begin.
