Description
Hello,
I'm testing CSS style customization; you can see an example in issue #3017 . It turns out that this approach adds styles to the selected segment. This makes the last style declared on the page the dominant one. I would like to insert a with the corresponding class every time a style is selected. This will ensure that regardless of the style declaration on the page, the last one you inserted prevails. Of course, there must be the option to remove the style when it's selected again. How could I do this?

Research direction
No file, test, or entry point is named. Start by reviewing the approach in issue #3017 and locating the existing style-selection handling; done means selected styles can be applied with the requested span/class behavior and removed when selected again.
