Description

  • build with run-windows
  • upgrade VS to a newer version
  • try building with run-windows again

The PCHs are from a different version, which breaks the build:
"Fatal error C1853: precompiled header is from a different version of the compiler"

Research direction

Reproduce the failure by building with run-windows, upgrading Visual Studio, and building again. Inspect the run-windows build configuration and precompiled-header handling; done means the build succeeds after a Visual Studio upgrade without the C1853 compiler-version error.
