Description

Problem Description

TextInput components cannot gain Narrator focus. From initial debugging with the Narrator dev team, it appears the Narrator sees the focused element become null during processing and so Narrator is unable to announce the element or move its blue box.

TextInput is able to receive keyboard focus and its focus ring correctly appears around the control.

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Launch Narrator.
  2. Try to navigate to a TextInput component.
Expected Results

Narrator should move its blue box around the TextInput control and announce the UIA data for the control.
