Description
Dear MakeCode team,
I would like to request the addition of my BMP280 extension to the MakeCode extension gallery.
- Repository: https://github.com/tanagogedora/bmp280betaVrJP
- Device: micro:bit
- Sensor: BMP280 (pressure, temperature only)
- Language support: Japanese blocks and comments
- Purpose: Designed for classroom use and science education in Japan
- Target audience: Japanese science classrooms and student research projects (elementary to high school)
- Demo Page: https://tanagogedora.github.io/bmp280betaVrJP/
- License: MIT
This extension is based on a BME280 implementation originally developed by the Chinese microbit/micropython community (2018), and has been adapted for Japanese educational use.
This version provides:
- Japanese-language block support
- Decimal precision for pressure and temperature measurements
- Open and adaptable design for students and teachers
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Tanagotti
