Description

Is there a way to increment a version in an environment while exporting?

I have used the powerplatform-actions/update-solution-version@v0 which runs but only says valid inputs are build-version, revision-number, patch-version, strategy, tracker-file. It then says authenticate failed running this even with who-am-i action before that.

Is there any way to do this? I cannot use pac commands directly in my environment.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the powerplatform-actions/update-solution-version@v0 action inputs and its authentication flow, then compare them with the who-am-i action used beforehand. Clarify whether exporting should increment the solution version and define the expected authentication and versioning behavior as the completion criteria.
