Research direction
Start by locating the OpenVMM argument definitions and the serial-port selection path for --vtl2, --vmbus-com1-serial, and --vmbus-com2-serial. Confirm how COM1–COM4 are currently split, then remove the two obsolete arguments and ensure --vtl2 selects VMBus serial for COM1 and COM2 while COM3 and COM4 remain emulated.
