Description

  • Make more checks about the device (e.g. that the disks show
up on the correct SCSI controller in VTL2, that the disks
are in the correct LUN, etc).
  • Add more disk operations (resize, add/remove, etc.)
  • Add a Windows guest variant for these tests.
  • Add aarch64 support in these tests.
  • Take a similar approach to the DVD tests.

Research direction

Start by reading the existing vmm_tests storage tests and the similar DVD tests mentioned in the issue. Define the scope with maintainers before working: device and SCSI/LUN checks, disk operations, Windows and aarch64 variants, and comparable DVD coverage should all be addressed.
