Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the existing .NET-to-JavaScript type-conversion path and its tests, then resolve whether decimal values should map to JavaScript number or use a dependency. Done means the conversion policy is decided, implemented, and covered by tests.
