Description

Microsoft has released a Store CLI targeting end-user scenarios such as installing and updating applications, store.exe.

Example news articles: 1 2

As such, references to msstore as Store CLI rather than Store Developer CLI are now confusing.

Please update them and any other documentation to be clear about which tool is referenced.

And please update the README to clarify the distinction and point end-users to Store CLI. AFAIK, Microsoft has not released official documentation for Store CLI; once they do, it would be good to reference that. In the meantime, store help and third-party articles like those linked above are about the best one can do.

Research direction

Start with the README and search the repository for references to “Store CLI” and “msstore”. Update project references to say “Store Developer CLI”, clarify the distinction from the end-user Store CLI, and point end-users to the available Store CLI guidance; done means the documentation is unambiguous throughout.
