Description

I have uploaded an MSIX package of my app to the Microsoft Store. The app is designed to run in Kiosk mode. The MSIX package was signed using a test code signing certificate, with the CN value matching the "Publisher" value specified in the product identity of the Microsoft Store listing.

After downloading and installing the app from the Microsoft Store onto a Windows laptop, when attempting to configure the device for Kiosk mode, our app is not appearing in the list of available apps to assign for Kiosk mode.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the Microsoft Store installation and checking the installed MSIX package identity, including its Publisher value and signing certificate. Then compare the package's kiosk eligibility with the Windows Kiosk mode app list; done means the cause of the missing app is identified and documented or the app appears in the list.
