Description

Project

MSIXCore msixmgr

Describe the bug

msixmgr lacks package inspection tabs in Windows Explorer, like Digital Signatures and Details. Users may want to inspect packages before they install.

Expected behavior

msixmgr should integrate with Windows Explorer by adding Digital Signatures and Details file property tabs for appx and msix packages, like on Windows 10.

Platform

Windows 7 and later

Research direction

The issue identifies MSIXCore msixmgr and the Windows Explorer integration as the area to investigate, but names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating how msixmgr handles appx and msix packages and how Explorer property tabs are integrated. Done means appx and msix files expose Digital Signatures and Details tabs in Windows Explorer on Windows 7 and later.
