[Bug] Long single line text makes page unresponsive when Click "show more" at the end

Reproduction Steps

1. Enter long single line text without word wrap enabled.
2. Click "show more" at the end.

Actual (Problematic) Behavior

1. VS code desktop closed automatically.
2. vscode.dev page becomes unresponsive
3. Monaco Editor Playground page becomes unresponsive

Start with the linked Monaco Editor Playground example and reproduce the issue through monaco.editor.create using a very long single line with plaintext and automaticLayout enabled. Test clicking "show more" at the end with word wrap disabled. Done means the available string is displayed without the desktop editor closing or the browser page becoming unresponsive.
