Description
Currently jring_bench and jring2_bench are implemented as two different applications in apps/.
Ideally, merge the two in a single application using a runtime flag to decide the ring to be benchmarked.
Would also be nice if we can integrate those over Google bench.

Research direction
Start in the apps/ directory, comparing the jring_bench and jring2_bench applications and their benchmark entry points. Determine how a runtime flag can select which ring is benchmarked, then check whether Google Benchmark integration fits the existing applications. Done means the two applications are replaced by one configurable benchmark, with Google Benchmark integration if feasible.
