Description
The plugins pings raw URL's when one changes things globally. I added an author box in a method in functions.php and it pinged for all posts with "/?p=1234", which just will confuse the search engines, as these URLs end up in 404.
I hope SE's will not ban me for such actions.

Research direction
The report concerns URL submissions triggered by changes and mentions functions.php; start by tracing how the plugin builds and sends URLs for global updates. Reproduce the /?p=1234 case and verify that completed work prevents invalid URLs that resolve to 404 from being submitted.
