Description

📝 Scenario

As a FinOps practitioner, I need to add separate columns for important tags in order to build custom reports based on my allocation needs

💎 Solution

  • Add a tags array into the config/settings.json file to track the tags to extract.
  • Update the CostDetails table to parse those out into separate columns.

Research direction

Start with config/settings.json to understand the proposed tags array, then locate the CostDetails table and its current parsing logic. Done means configured important tags are extracted into separate CostDetails columns for custom allocation reports; the payload names no test to run.
