Description
🐛 Problem
Reservation information not displaying in Power BI KQL reports for MCA account
👣 Repro steps
CostSummary KQL Power BI Report
- Click on Inventory Page
- Select Date Range for MCA data
- Click Commitment Discount and unselect everything except for Reservation
- Review Total Savings and ESR items at the top of report
RateOptimization KQL Power BI Report
- Click on Commitments page
- Select Date range for MCA data
- Review Commitment savings and ESR columns
🤔 Expected
Reservation savings data populated for date range of our MCA billing profile.
ℹ️ Additional context
From the Rate Optimization report, we do see Savings Plan data in the Commitment savings column for the MCA account date range. We migrated from an EA to MCA and have both sets of data ingested into Fabric as a primary data store. When reviewing date ranges during our EA, we do see both Reservation and Savings Plan data.
The Fabric Real-time dashboard does show data in the Effective cost breakdown by month section, with both Reservation and Savings Plan columns, for the MCA in the 2025-05 Month.
I've tested v0.11 and v0.10 reports using v0.11 Hub

Research direction
Start with the CostSummary and RateOptimization KQL Power BI reports and review how MCA reservation data is populated for the specified date range. Compare their Reservation and ESR results with the Fabric Real-time dashboard and the EA-period results; done means reservation savings appear in the report totals and columns.
