Description
We would like to request a new FabricNote covering Microsoft Fabric Real-Time Intelligence (RTI) and Fabric IQ, two of the most strategic capabilities in the Microsoft Fabric platform for enabling real-time analytics and AI-powered data experiences.
Many customers and solution architects are looking for a consolidated technical guide that explains:
RTI architecture and core components (Eventstreams, Eventhouse, KQL Database, Activator, and Real-Time Dashboards).
End-to-end real-time analytics patterns and reference architectures.
Integration with OneLake, Fabric workloads, and data governance capabilities.
Performance, scalability, security, and operational best practices.
Common enterprise use cases such as observability, IoT, telemetry analytics, operational intelligence, fraud detection, and monitoring.
In addition, a dedicated section on Fabric IQ would be highly valuable, including:
What Fabric IQ is and how it works.
How Fabric IQ leverages Fabric metadata, semantic models, and organizational knowledge.
Integration with Copilot, Data Agents, and AI-powered experiences.
Business and technical use cases.
Current capabilities, limitations, and adoption guidance.
The note should also include a combined RTI + Fabric IQ perspective, demonstrating how organizations can use streaming and real-time insights together with AI-driven reasoning and natural language experiences to accelerate decision-making.
