Description

I've found at least one recently compiled executable for which the .symcache file is 0 bytes when using the packaged MSDIA140.dll 14.32.31326.0, but is properly created with MSDIA140.dll 14.44.35213.0.

As a side issue, it would be great if these libraries could be made open-source.

Research direction

Start by locating where the Microsoft.Windows.EventTracing.Processing.All NuGet package selects or bundles MSDIA140.dll, then compare the packaged 14.32.31326.0 library with Visual Studio's 14.44.35213.0 version. Done means the package includes the newer version and the reported executable produces a non-empty .symcache file.
