GitHub Copilot plugin version
0.14.0
Eclipse IDE and version
4.34.0 2024-12
Platform
Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.19045.0 x64
Steps to reproduce
we use a COBOS plugin COBOL editor.
in version 0.6.1 there was no problem. the file in the open (focused) editor was added to the chat's context.
now in version 0.14.0 it doesn't add it, unless the file is opened using a different editor i.e. plain text editor, or you have to add the file manually by selecting it from "Add Context...
Unfortunately I cannot add screenshots.
Thanks in advance for your response and Happy New Year!
Logs (optional)
No response
Expected behavior
see the file in the opened editor in the Chat's context
Actual behavior
the file is not added to the context, unless the file is opened using a different editor, and/or added manually via "Add Context..."
Additional information
it was working fine in version 0.6.1

Research direction
Reproduce the issue in Eclipse 4.34.0 on Windows with the COBOS COBOL editor and Copilot plugin 0.14.0, then compare the focused-editor behavior with version 0.6.1 and a plain-text editor. Done means the file opened in the external editor is automatically shown in Chat context without manual selection.
