Description

I set up a beachball check step in an AzureDevOps CI pipeline.
The job is failing due to cannot fetch remote in the pipeline, I wonder if there is any setting / configuration to get this step working in Azure DevOps. The command is working in local dev machine.

Research direction

Start with the beachball check invocation and the AzureDevOps pipeline configuration shown in the issue, then investigate why the pipeline cannot fetch the remote while local development succeeds. Reproduce the check in AzureDevOps and identify the configuration or environment change needed for the remote fetch to complete successfully.
