Description

Describe the bug
When I use OCR function on my Snapdragon X Plus laptop, both the CPU and NPU show high utilization. I thought the NPU was supposed to handle this on its own. Is this normal behavior?

To Reproduce
use OCR function

Expected behavior
only NPU in use

Research direction

No source files, tests, or entry points are identified in the report. Start by reproducing OCR on the stated Snapdragon X Plus setup with app version 0.4.7, then trace the OCR execution and its CPU/NPU utilization; done means determining whether the CPU usage is expected and addressing the confirmed behavior.
