Description
Description
Switching from Windows to Mac I'm happy to get Zoomit :)
But a very simple issue:
How to remove/disable a keyboard hotkey?
Reason for asking: I don't need all but typically ctrl-2 for screen annotations only, and want to minimize collisions with other apps.
Current Behavior
Open settings, and clicking the hotkey, I only figured out how to set another hotkey, but not how to disable/remove it.
Expected Behavior
Add a hint in the setting-form, that i.e. "backspace" -- like on Windows ZoomIt -- is setting it to "None"
Steps to Reproduce
- open ZoomIt Settings
- click into "Zoom Toggle" to change the hotkey
- click "Backspace" which is not disabling it (setting to "None")
Product Version
12.21.0
macOS Version
26.6.1

Research direction
Start in the ZoomIt Settings hotkey control and reproduce the reported behavior by selecting Zoom Toggle and pressing Backspace. Trace how the control stores or interprets that key, then make Backspace remove or disable the selected hotkey and display the expected None hint; verify the change by repeating the listed steps.
