Description
Steps to reproduce
- Click the ZoomIt menu in the menu bar
- Select Check Permissions
- Click Camera Settings — the macOS Settings dialog appears
- Close the macOS Settings dialog (the ZoomIt permissions dialog is no longer visible)
- Click the ZoomIt menu again and select Check Permissions
Result
Two ZoomIt permissions dialogs are now open.
Expected
Only one ZoomIt permissions dialog should ever be visible. Re-invoking Check Permissions should focus the existing dialog rather than open a second one.

Research direction
Start by tracing the Check Permissions menu action and the permissions dialog lifecycle, then reproduce the sequence with Camera Settings. Verify how the dialog is dismissed or retained when macOS Settings closes. Done means re-invoking Check Permissions focuses the existing ZoomIt permissions dialog and never creates a duplicate.
