Description
At the moment, I use XSLT to create CSV output. It is displayed as a mass of unformatted, not aligned mass of text.
Of course I can copy and paste the output to a tool with CSV feature (line Numbers, different background colour for even/odd lines, but if it is easy(??) to implement these features also would be nice on the output page ;-)

Research direction
The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the XSLT output page and the code that renders CSV output; clarify which formatting is in scope, then consider the work done when the requested CSV alignment and visual styling appear correctly in that page.
