Which version of the app?

WinUI 3 Gallery

Description

The Design Guidance > Color section is very useful, but would be much easier to use if there were some way to see the transparency effects. With only a blank background it is impossible to see how the transparency affects the visual appearance. It would be great to add a simple set of backgrounds with patterns and colors, behind the color swatches. That would let the user see how the transparency (and glass etc) work.

Research direction

Start by locating the Design Guidance > Color section in the WinUI 3 Gallery and run that page to understand how its color swatches are presented. Add simple patterned and colored backgrounds behind the swatches so transparency and glass effects are visible, then verify the result in the gallery.
