Research direction

The issue only identifies WSL, an attempted .wslconfig change, and a screenshot; start by reproducing the reported 8 GB limit and reviewing the relevant .wslconfig behavior. A useful outcome would require a confirmed configuration path or a clearly scoped product change, but the report names no files or tests.
