Start with the linked Windows WSL installation instructions and reproduce the Ubuntu 20.04 setup using wsl --set-default-version 2. Investigate the reported WslRegisterDistribution error 0x8007273f; diagnostic logs are not provided, so a useful resolution would need a confirmed cause and documented fix or workaround.
