Description

### Windows Version

Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.22631.2715]

### WSL Version

2.0.9.0

### Are you using WSL 1 or WSL 2?

- [X] WSL 2
- [ ] WSL 1

### Kernel Version

5.15.133.1

### Distro Version

Ubuntu 22.04

### Other Software

Scribus, Windows 64 bit and Windows 32 bit, version 1.5.8
owncloud client, Windows 64 bit, version 5.2.0

### Repro Steps

1. Map \\\\wsl$\Ubuntu-22.04 to drive letter Z: (tested via "net use" and Windows Explorer)
2. Open certain windows programs (in this case: Scribus and Owncloud)
3. Try to add folder on mapped drive as sync folder (Owncloud) or open files from it (Scribus)

### Expected Behavior

The file dialogue should list the WSL drive and allow to add/open the files/folders inside.

### Actual Behavior

- For Scribus: the mapped drive does not show up at all. A mapped network share on the local network does however show up there.
- For Owncloud: the desired folder can be selected in the setup assistant. It does not allow however to add the folder as sync destination, complaining about missing write permissions.

### Diagnostic Logs

Opening files from WSL in Windows Explorer or most other applications (tested: GIMP, Adobe Reader, Windows Photo Viewer, ...) works flawlessly.

Research direction

Reproduce the issue using the listed WSL 2, Ubuntu 22.04, Scribus, and ownCloud versions, following the mapped Z: drive steps. Compare behavior in Scribus and ownCloud with Windows Explorer and other working applications; done means the mapped WSL path is visible in Scribus and accepted as a writable sync destination by ownCloud.
