Description

Because I plan to use AMD graphics cards to run AI, but their acceleration library requires ubuntu:22.04.03 kernel:6.2 or ubuntu:22.04.02 kernel:5.19. And WSL doesn't support the use of its own compiled kernel, is there a plan to support it in the near future?

Research direction

Start by reviewing the reported WSL limitation around using a self-compiled kernel and the AMD acceleration library's Ubuntu 22.04 kernel requirements. Compare the requested 6.2 and 5.19 kernel scenarios with WSL's current supported kernel options; done means documenting whether support is planned or identifying the required support scope.
