WSL in Company Environment - Block WSL2 Company-Wide

Hi,

We use WSL in our company daily, but we found, that WSL2 poses a great security risk as Microsoft doesn't support the Microsoft Defender for WSL2.
Also we have a lot of tools, which aren't compatible with WSL2 and only work with WSL1.

Unfortunately we have yet to find a way to allow WSL1 in general in the Company, but block the installation/usage of WSL2 due to the security risks involved in using it.

Is there any group policy/script I could set to allow WSL1, but not WSL2? So that no one could update to WSL2?
Or is there any other way. So far I only found an option using a Powershell Script, which would completely disable WSL altogether.
