intellisense static methods on top

Suggestion

Static methods should appear on top of intellisense suggestions.
Or, add a way to hide other methods (see screenshot)

Use Cases

It would allow to access method name faster rather than search through whole of unneeded methods.

Checklist

My suggestion meets these guidelines:

  • This wouldn't be a breaking change in existing TypeScript/JavaScript code
  • This wouldn't change the runtime behavior of existing JavaScript code
  • This could be implemented without emitting different JS based on the types of the expressions
  • This isn't a runtime feature (e.g. library functionality, non-ECMAScript syntax with JavaScript output, etc.)
  • This feature would agree with the rest of TypeScript's Design Goals.

Research direction

Start with the linked TypeScript Playground example and reproduce the IntelliSense suggestions for a class with static methods. Inspect the completion behavior to determine how static methods should be prioritized or how other methods could be hidden; done means the requested suggestion behavior is implemented and covered by the relevant completion tests.
