Description
Request
TS Server currently only reads tsconfig and jsconfig files from disk. When editing a config file in an editor like vscode, you have to save it to the disk for the project configuration changes to take effect.
We'd like to be able to synchronize unsaved config files with the tsserver as well, the same way we synchronize unsaved js/ts files. This would mainly be helpful for error reporting in the config files

Research direction
Start at tsserver's handling of tsconfig and jsconfig files, then compare it with the existing synchronization of unsaved js/ts files. Verify how an editor such as VS Code sends unsaved config content and determine the affected error-reporting path. Done means unsaved config changes are synchronized and their errors are reported without requiring the file to be saved.
