Research direction

Start by reproducing the Error List behavior in the TypeScript Sublime Plugin: open the list, press ESC, and determine whether Sublime or the plugin closes it. Trace the existing Error List handling and finish by either keeping it open after ESC or documenting that the behavior is a Sublime limitation.
