Description

Very impressive 3D generation project, especially with 3DGS compatibility! I find that the generated 3DGS for a simple red block can contain more than 700000 points after running the example_multi_image.py. I am wondering whether the generated 3DGS model can be more sparse and contain fewer points.

Research direction

The issue points to example_multi_image.py and asks whether its generated 3DGS output can contain fewer points. Start by running that example and tracing the output-generation settings, then compare the resulting point count for the red block. Done means identifying and documenting a supported sparsity control, or confirming that none is available.
