Description

Hi and thank you for TRELLIS!

The density of the extracted 3DGS files is often fairly high for the amount of detail that they show (or require). Is there a way to set the density prior to the extraction of the 3DGS?

Research direction

The issue names no file, test, or entry point. Locate the Gaussian splat extraction path and determine whether density can be configured before extraction; done would be a documented, working way to set that density, if the project supports it.
