Unable to select items on Sandance after publishing as an App

Description
I have created a SandDance visual on Power BI Desktop and published it as an App. When testing on Desktop, I was able to select items of the scatter plot thus reflecting those selection filters on other plots.
But after publishing as an Power BI App, I am not being able to make this selection. When I try to select an item on the SandDance, it gets unselected automatically. I am not sure why.
