Description

The Jupyter Lab PIP package didn't update since August 6th, 2020, and is still at version 3.0. I saw the Jupyter Lab version was discontinued on SandDance version 4.0.

I am excited to continue using the updated version of SandDance in the VSCode Python Jupyter notebooks. Could create a simplified package to render Pandas data frames using updated SandDance?

Research direction

The issue names no repository files, tests, or entry points. Start by reviewing the existing SandDance package on PyPI and how SandDance is exposed to Python Jupyter notebooks in VSCode; determine whether updating or creating a package is appropriate. Done means an installable package renders Pandas data frames with the updated SandDance version in VSCode notebooks.
