SandDance does not filter other visuals on a page

There was a similar issue before:

I like SandDance very much, but the lack of interaction with another visuals on a page prevents me from using it.
Isolating of selected item allows to filter items inside SandDance visual, but that action won't affect any other visuals on a page, which is very disappointing.

I can't see the reason for that, but if so, why not make a property that will allow me as a report designer to turn on/off the interaction with another visuals on a page?
If you could do such a property, it would be very valuable.
