Research direction

Start by reading WG21-P1068R11 and LWG-4085, then review the repository's existing conventions for C++ standard-library features and feature-test macros. The issue names no files or tests, and its note says PRs for C++26 features are not yet being accepted; completion would require implementing the specified feature and validating the 202403L macro when work is opened.
