Description

WG21-P2871R3 Remove Deprecated Unicode Conversion Facets: <codecvt>

No feature-test macro is mentioned.

Notes:

  • Only the <codecvt> header is being removed by this paper.
  • std::wbuffer_convert and std::wstring_convert in <locale> were also deprecated in C++17 (and we phrased _CXX17_DEPRECATE_CODECVT_HEADER to cover them), and WG21-P2872R3 #4520 is removing them.
  • The std::codecvt class template in <locale> was NEVER deprecated and is NOT being removed.

Note: We are not yet accepting PRs for C++26 features.
