Description

p=qcodes.ManualParameter('p')
list(p[0:10:1]) # works fine
list(p[0:0:1]) # generates an error, I would expect an empty list

Research direction

Start by reproducing the two ManualParameter slicing examples from the issue, then read the ManualParameter slicing entry point and compare the non-empty and empty ranges. Done means list(p[0:0:1]) returns an empty list without raising an error while the existing non-empty case continues to work.
