“既読” means “already read” and is used to refer to opened emails or chat logs that have been read through, so using it to mean “disk read” is a misnomer.
Since the corresponding entry in Windows Task Manager is labeled “読み取り速度” (lit. Read speed) we should use “読み取り” to maintain consistency.
