### Area(s) with issue?

Command Palette

### Steps to reproduce

When CmdPal window is opened from the Dock, it is visually offset by the padding between the window and the main card. Feels weird especially when triggered by dock item on the center dock band.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the offset in CmdPal when it is opened from a Dock item, comparing its position with the dock item and the padding around the main card. Trace the Command Palette launch and window-positioning entry points; done means the window aligns with the item that opened it, including on the center dock band.
