Steps to reproduce

After changing the brightness of a display with Power Display, the slider stays at the set level. Both internal and external displays usually have their own built-in methods to change brightness. So, after changing brightness using this built-in method and then activating Power Display, the brightness slider of Power Display doesn't correspond to the new brightness level—that was changed without using Power Display. Then, when you start changing the brightness again with the incorrect slider of the Power Display utility, the brightness level of the display jumps to the level previously set on the Power Utility slider.

✔️ Expected Behavior

If display brightness was changed without using the Power Display utility, the utility should display the correct brightness level—that is currently used by the display—on the slider when activated.

❌ Actual Behavior

The brightness slider in the Power Display utility shows the brightness level set the last time the utility was used to change brightness, even when the brightness after that was changed without using the utility. Hence, the utility slider shows the wrong setting/number for the brightness level.

Start in the Power Display brightness handling and activation flow, reproducing the issue by changing brightness through the display's built-in controls before opening Power Display. Done means the slider reflects the display's current brightness when activated and does not jump back to the utility's previous value.
