Description
### Microsoft PowerToys version
from version 0.97.2 to the current version
### Installation method
Microsoft Store
### Area(s) with issue?
Peek
### Steps to reproduce
The Peek utility is configured to run when I press the spacebar, but it doesn't. For it to work, I first have to click the PowerToys icon in the Windows system tray, and only when I display the menu from that icon do the PowerToys utilities launch. It also frequently happens that the PowerToys application doesn't run at system startup, even though it's configured to launch automatically. Finally, sometimes when I press the spacebar in File Explorer, for example, while renaming a file, the Peek utility runs unexpectedly.
### ✔️ Expected Behavior
What should happen is that the Peek utility shows me a preview of a PDF file or an image.

Research direction
Start by reviewing the attached PowerToysReport_2026-06-11-09-07-52.zip and reproducing the Peek behavior from the issue. Check the interaction between Peek, PowerToys startup and system-tray activation, including the File Explorer rename scenario. Done means Peek starts reliably, previews PDFs and images with the spacebar, and does not trigger unexpectedly while typing.
