Start by reproducing the issue in Settings > Keyboard Manager with a German (QWERTZ) keyboard, then check the Mouse utilities > Cross > Moving cross default shortcut. Done means the dot key is displayed as a dot rather than a colon in all affected settings dialogs and shortcuts.
